It's the kind of song you can't get out of your mind. Cristian, Alfonso, Maite and Dulce sing it perfectly. In my opinion, the worst song of the album. It's the kind of song you can get asleep listening to. The guys sing it well but I just think it is to slow. 5/5Ī tu lado- Has pretty lyrics and it is a romantic song. There is a part where Dulce Maria sings beautifully. I like that everybody sings in this song. 3/5Īun hay algo- Definitely one of the best songs of the album and also the second single. 5/5Īsí soy yo- Well.this song its weird and has crazy lyrics but you have to understand that it is a song made for "mia collucci" to sing. It makes the song more real because you believe they are really passing through that situation. I love the fact that the couples of the telenovela sing it. It's a ballad that you can hear many times and you don't get tired. 4/5Įste corazón- For me, the best song of the album. I just think it's weird and out of place. I believe that it would have been better with ought the `feliz cumpleaños' thing. It's a rock song and Cristian and Anahi sing nicely together. 3/5įeliz Cumpleaños- I have to say that the first time I heard this song I didn't like it but after a while you get to like it. The girls voices in this song are pretty good but the original song sang by Kelly Clarkson (Gone) its better. The lyrics talk about disillusion and the pain a girl goes through and how she will get through the bad days and will forget about him. At some point you will get annoyed with the "y es asi asi es." but still I like the song. The only thing bad about the song is that they repeat the chorus too much. I like the fact that it starts slow and then it gets better. Nuestro amor- First single off the record. I believe `Nuestro amor' is better than their first CD `Rebelde'. I am a big fan of the telenovela and the music group and I have to say that although they may not be the best singers in the world the music is pretty good. This is exactly what it would sound like. I mean, listening to some of these songs I keep thinking this exact thought, "If I were to write a song with all my heart, this is EXACTLY what it would sound like." "Aun Hay Algo" is my favorite. The choruses, where the whole group sings together, along with the most well-written, bright pop songs that I've ever heard is just powerful! I guess the triumph is in demonstrating that creativity can be so powerful that it appeals to millions of individuals all at once. I don't think RBD imitates anyone, though, in the end. Couple that with the fact that this group extends on the fire left behind by an immensely popular European pop group, and tries to imitate them. These songs are not only typically catchy pop songs, but the melodies remind you of an ending soundtrack about some sort of triumph. When I pop this CD into my computer and see the name(s) of the individuals who wrote these songs alongside their piece of art, the name itself lends some sort of face to a very illustrious mind.
Now, besides the fact that this group is comprised of kids who happen to be the best dancers, singers and star on their own gorgeous TV show, the music itself is probably the red-eyed, stay-up-all-night, crumpled-up-paper-everywhere, rewritten-until-it's-perfect music. Like I've said before, pop music production usually has all stops pulled out. Lemme give you a review from a musical standpoint. I assume these come from the main demographic of fans, kids who are impressed with the general produced image of this collected group. I mean, what's the use? There are just so many raves about it.
